Has anyone here ever tried a Trinity modified wiseco piston OR a Nac's Intake modified wiseco? I'm digging into my top end tomorrow and I'll know if I need to goto another bore size over and need a fresh piston. But if I have to do that I want to throw a few extra $$ into it and get a modified piston if they are any good. Any input will help... thanks :-)

When they modify the piston, they just make the windows bigger. I don't know if it's worth the money or not but my banshee pistons are modified.

How much more do they charge to open it up?

 

trinity charges like $30 for their mod..when I called them about it, they said they more or less simply lightened the piston which gave you about 2 hp thru out the powerband. they couldnt provide me with a dyno or anything so thats why I am asking here. The NAC's piston mod is where they lighten the piston by making the intake hole on that side of the piston bigger. Im just questing at this, but I'm that would allow gas/air to enter the crankcase even when the piston is blocking the intake? lol I have no idea.... and that is $25 for that mod
