What is the biggest tire you would recommend for the 2004 Foreman 450, I plan to buy either high lifter or mud lites and I do not want to put a lift kit on it.

26 work great for average riding but for lots of mud 27 i think are the limit without a lift kit.

 

I think I am going to put 26's on my Foreman. I don't want to lift my Foreman either. (because of added stress on other parts) I had considered the highlifter radials but they aren't going to make them anymore. (Last I knew) I am going to choose between Mudrunners and 589's. It might come down to which tires cost less. The 27" 589's come in a 27x9-12 and 27x11-12 instead of a 27x12-12. The 11-12's weigh less than the 12-12's.

 

I may go with the 26" just to save the money, i just dont want the stock tires that came with it. i was looking up the price of rims as well and this is going to add up pretty fast, WOW!

 

27's look awesome on the 450 Foreman.

But you could run 26's or 25's. Just whatever you want to get, and how big you want them.

 

ill look at the price difference, where do you guys buy from? i REALLY like the blackwaters but i hear more good things about the tires listed above.

 

I was going to buy some 589's from Rockymountainatv.com. They did have them for (26x9-12) $62.99 and (26x12-12) $64.99. Then I noticed that they raised their prices to $72.95 and $79.95. They also want $80.+ for shipping. So now I might as well buy locally because they'll sell them and mount them for around the same price. I was going to get some extra rims so I could switch back and forth. Now I might just let the stock tires wear down and put the new tires on the stock rims. I have to ask the local tire place how much the Mudrunners are going to cost. If they are close to the 589's then I'll buy the Mudrunners.

Some of these companies don't tell you how much shipping will be until they get your credit card info. (online) So I call to get the info.
