Man I cringe when I see posts like this.
It depends on sooooooo many things that no one but you can control; and somethings you can't control. Some of the things you can control are ignition lead, and vehical load and how smooth the piston top is. Some of the things you can't control are, temperature (atmospheric), humidity, and altitude.
If you are a little low on compression so what!!!! If you are a little high on compression and get into a detonation situation, you will be picking pieces of piston out of your pipe!!!! That gets ugly real quick!!!!!!
Get the 11 to 1 and go have fun on pump gas.
