i have an e series slip on that is cracked, the crack goes the whole way around the pipe, its located where the large expansion part is welded to the connector pipe, if this has happened to anyone else, could u help me out on how to fix this, if any one knows if its aluminum, tell me, i was thinking about rewelding it and if its aluminum, i need a special welder, thanks

 

The canister is alluminum and any certified welder or even a buddy who has some experience with a welder could probly do it. Just take and have him runs a bead along the crack then polish 'er up....be as good as new.
