A bore kit for $330 you than end up needing labor for it if you plan on buying it off powroll or one of those sites, and with that kit you basiclly will need a full exhaust so i suggest going with the exhaust first.

I say go with the full exaust system and a new air filter and see where that takes you...if your still lookin for more power then go with the 330 kit.

Enjoy

ok thanks everyon i have decided to go with the full exhaust. So now i need to know which one to get i have been looking at the White Bros. E-Series Pro Meg Aluminum Silencer and it is said to inceease your HP by 4-7 is this true? i can get that one for around $362. and i have been looking at the Big Guns. i want an exhaust that will increase mainly low and mid range but it would be nice if it did top range too.

The E-Series is great for the 300ex... it gave me a nice sized power increase combine with the K&N filter... its good for low-mid range power and powerband. i havent had any problem or regrets gettin it. I dont know nothin about them DGs but they dont seem to bad...

You would want to get a new head pipe cause them stockers are tiny

Enjoy

You can check ebay for a full exhaust system, I got a new Supertrapp IDS2 for 135 bucks, but new from Rocky Mt. ATV they are only about 190, very clean looking ,disks are inside so they won't pack with mud, and it sounds great, comes with a head pipe, too. A UNI filter and some jets, and my son is very happy with the power and sound. Just remember, aftermarket exhaust for the 300ex run very close to the fender, buy some heat tape and protect the area around the pipe, or you will end up with a hole melted in the fender by the seat.
