Hello,
I'm weighing the options between getting the 250R
and Selling my Warrior.
And I was wondering if it is really worth selling a 1995 Warrior for a 14 year old machine. Will I still be able to get parts from Honda shops that are made by Honda or will I have to get aftermarket parts. How often will I have to rebuild the motor on the 250R, Will I be able to get Transmission parts if anything goes wrong in the lower end. Will there be a differance in suspension?
I need help quick before I go to look at the machine tonight so please be quick to respond to this message.
Thanks, your time is very much appreciated

And maybe a 1986 250R

The "R" is a great machine and honda still makes all the replacement engine parts and even the plastic
I can still buy tranny parts for my friends 1980 CR80 so i am sure the R's are too. Expect to stick a new ring in the R every year if it is ridden often. I use Amsoil at 32:1 in my 2 strokes (CR500R,RM125) and I havent had to touch the top end in 2 years on my RM. the R has great suspention compaired to your warrior and it will handel much better, the only draw back to the R is that it doesnt have the low end of the 4 stroke and you will have to work harder in the tight stuff but defently a great bike overall.

I used to have an 87 Warrior and there is no comparison if you do any spirited riding. Much more fun with twice the power and the suspension lets you go faster over the rough stuff (in control anyway), but I also know some guys with Warriors who are happy putting around enjoying the trails, it depends how much going fast is worth to you!
You could come up and ride mine some time but I don't think I'm riding this weekend and I don't think that one will be for sale very long.
