Getting new honda today.

Trading in the 2001 polaris edge x (not enough snow) and the 2002 KLR 650 (boyfriend never drove it) today, taking home a 400 rancher . Had a polaris xplorer but didn't like the two stroke, hope I'm not dissapointed with this purchase.

If you don't mind me asking, what will you end up paying for the new Rancher AT trade and cash together? I've been trying to buy one in NC for a few weeks but no dealers want to come off the MSRP. I hear about people around the country getting OTD for $5300 or so, not in my neck of the woods. Best I have been able to do so far is $6500 which I think is just too high.
That AT sure is a nice bike though, test drove one last week finally, very smooth in both Auto and ES mode and feels plenty powerful enough for me. I don't need to move more than 40mph. Only concern with the AT is it's towing ability, I wonder if it has enough low end for the job. That will not be it's main use for me and I think it will work out for what I'm doing.
Good luck with your new ride!

Well here in Canada the best we could get was $9500 on the road, we traded fair trade so it didn't cost except for windshield and two-up seat. We got a red one, green was o.k also but it looks faded. Easiest thing in the world to operate, just know I'm gonna love it. Oh, by the way its a 400 AT with GPS set up. Pretty cool.
