nope same exact quad. The 99's had minor problems like most first year models do, but they worked them out for 00'. And in 2004 they tossed a bigger carb in. There's also a 300 and 250 version. If you see a TRX450r for sale please don't but it, it's fake, just so you know no one is selling a used legit one yet

I found a 2000 400EX that is in "good" condition for 2665, is that a good deal?

if it's not fake, post up a link. Click the http button right above the dialogue box you type in when entering a message then paste in the link, and right what you want the text to show up as. Please know that there are alot of scammers out there. The average used ex goes for about 3000 right now if you look. 2600 would be a good deal IF it's real. A few tips: NEVER get a quad shipped. ALWAYS take the bike for a spin. Bring someone with that knows a thing or two about quads so they know what to look for (cracks in frame, etc)

Someone I talked to went and looked at it. They said it had the typical wear, scratches and stuff but is perfect otherwise.

oh, it's from a dealer, you're almost guarunteed it's legit. That is a GOOD deal, I'd jump on it if possible. Take it for a test drive and ask LOTS of questions. Sounds like a steal to me, go down and ask for a test ride asap

My dad is actually gonna buy somethin.

He used to have 3 wheelers and liked them a lot, but he says he has never driven a four wheeler he liked. He says he doesnt feel like hes in control, will he feel that way with this? Hes only driven my old 200SX and some old suzuki. He drove a modified banshee in a parking lot and liked the power, but didnt get a feel for it.
