yep, i have one of those. riding an atv on a public paved road. i can't remember what it cost. i am thinking either $55 or $75.
they did let us off pretty easy because they could have nailed us for eluding a cop, wreckless driving, failing to stop at stop signs, etc.

 

I got one for but it is really for the wrong cause. I was supposed to get one of about 250 for riding on conservation land, but the guy let me off easy and only gave me one for 25 for not being registered in MASS

Now, before everyone calls me a damb @$$, this was when I was 15. My father and I were working on a pump for our neighbor. The ATV was not reg. or ins. b/c we only use it around the shop and garage. I was crossing the road on it and he saw me. Said i was driving wrecklessly b/c i rode over the snowbanks to get into the road, and i was tresspassing b/c i used another neighbors driveway who was out of town. Anyway, it would have been the most expensive 100 yard ride of my life, but, the cop wrote the ticket for the wrong town. With that, and me telling the judge what i was doing, he dropped everything. I was lucky.


No tickets other than that.

 

you got a ticket for no helmet. it maby stuoid but i dont think you can get a ticket for it. unless its a bylaw or something. is there something about being under 18 though maby.
