Today I was washing my 300ex and I took the rear fenders/seat off.ANd the header pipe was alirght but the exhaust part right benind where is bends was cracked in 2 peices!!!!!I hope this doens't ruin the piston from not having any back pressure.When my dad got home he tacked it up then took the exhuast off got the bend dent I put in the exhaust out.HTne he welded it up the rest off the way.U can't even tell anything every happened to it.The perforamce is back to it was kinda slacking off there for a while.We are selling the ex now.I will miss U old pal.
