what other mods to run with the larger displacement quads

Extra Hp also means extra heat, be sure to add an oil cooler to keep engine temps from causing power to fade off, and to prevent rapid oil breakdown and possible engine damage.

save your money and buy a faster quad. Seriously, putting money into a 282cc or in your case a 320cc air cooled begginer bike is a waste of money. You've already put too much money into it with the big bore kit. Ride it how it is now, and when you are ready for more performance step up to a bigger bike. Even if you could mod a 300ex to hang with a stock raptor, you will need many suspension upgrades to put all of that power to the ground and have a decent ride. And then what happens when the raptor starts to get modded. There will be no more mods for you to do on your 300ex and you will have wasted thousands of dollars that you could have spent on a faster quad.

A cam would give you more top end to keep up, you would loose some bottom end, but the big bore kit would give that back, so adding a cam would give you an all around boost, mostly mid to top end.
