is there a racing cam for the 300ex?

 

Heck ya the full race cams require shortened valve guides and Heavy duty valve springs though.

 

Unless you intend to do some serius wide open flat out flying stay away from the real high end cams. Web has 5 cams for the 300ex and I put the 4th one in a 305 big valve big bore and couldn't get it to stay in the power. I ended up putting the 2nd cam of Web's back in it.

Ya I never messed with the small bore kits . Just the 352 and the 406 . They need all the air they can get.

 

The 305 runs in a 350 class and 352 are getting booted out. That head I got from you will be going a bigger cc engine here real soon. Then I will get that big cam back out of the box.

maaybe if i bore it more and port and polish the heads and different gearing it would be good with a hi end cam?

 

does the cam take away bottom end?how much top end does it give

 

what numbers would i get from a racing cam
