I just got my Honda 250EX 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if anybody has one and gone to the dunes with paddles on? The guy at the place told me I dont need paddles because it will suck out the power.

Ours has a K&N with Outerwears and an FMF MegaMax II pipe, so it is a more powerful than stock. We run 20X11-9, 6-paddle buffed down Skat-Trak Edges out back, and Skat-Trak Mohawks in front. Everybody who rides it is very surprised at how well the bike does!

Without paddels you will probably not get too far into riding the dunes because you'll spin easily and bury your ride. I see it all the time at Glamis.
