easy pull clutch

Default easy pull clutch

hey, i have a 400ex and the clutch is wiked hard to pull, after long rides i get arm pump and it gets harder and harder for me to pull the clutch in. rite now i have a fly clutch assembly. any of you have any easy pull clutch assemblies or that moose setup thing, i like the hydralic but its outa my price range. if youv had any luck or got suggestions for easy pull setups let me know. thanx

if u go to exriders.com there is a tech artical of one thats really nice and easy to pull


btw... i am thinking about buying a 400ex, is it a nice bike for someone who has little clutch experiance? right now i have a ozark and a kodial 450

kakaboogie, the 400ex is about the same as most other manual sport quads, but when my freind first got his 300ex and learned to use the clutch he couldnt use mine, dont no y but he couldnt. even if it is a little hard at first u gotta learn sometime right? and the 400exs are great bikes

Before you go spending cash on a new clutch perch, try lubing the cable, or buying a new one, most of the time, the cables get overlooked, but should be regularly lubed too.

Are you running aftermarket clutch springs? Otherwise, if you have a new cable with stock springs, something is out of adjustment.

I was running a stock perch with ebc springs and was a very easy pull, but have since upgraded to a pep easy pull perch setup. Pull is slightly less with the new perch.

if you have a new cable, i would consider an rtc lever. i hear the pull on that is the best you will find. however, the lever isn't cheap.

watwasthat, i have a completely stock clutch and i have a new motion pro cable, the lever has been hard to pull ever since i switched from the stock assembly to my new fly easy adjust
