I'am sorry to tell you but I wouldn't trust that 406 kit on a 300ex. That is way too much bore you head will be to thin lots of overheating I'am sure the 330 would be sweet. You would have to change the crank and do alot of head work. It wouldn't be very reliable but hey who am I to judge.

I would stick with the 330 kit. If you want go with a smaller kit it will save your bore even longer.

Default PROFABATV MONSTER KIT FOR 300EX!!!!!!!

If this PROFAB ATV is the one in Lancaster,Ohio I would purchase the kit from them but have someone else do the the work for you. I had to tear my LT500 motor out twice because they couldn't even balance a crank right so I would not trust them on much of anything. I have also had friends that have had trouble with their work. Pretty slow on turn around time also. I tore my own motor down and took them the crank and it took them 3 weeks to get it back to me. When I got the motor back in it vibrated so bad I had to take it back out and take it down again. I then took the crank to my usual dealership (Treadway Honda- Suzuki) and they balanced it for me and said it was not even close.
