hey, this is a stupid question but... how do u change the oil on the 300ex and how often do u recomend doing it. thanks

i never recieved an owners manual when i bought it... can anyone help me?

 

its really easy. Look under your engine there should be a skid plate and in about the middle of that skid plate there is a bolt , your oil drain plug. Take that out and your oil will drain out the hole(make sure when u take it out you have a bucket under it so the oil doesn't go everywhere). after all the oil is out put the plug back in and on your clutch cover there is a cap that unscrews where you put the new oil in. Put you oil in and screw the cap back in and your all set. I also would recomend changing your oil filter either every time or every other time you change your oil. This is the triangle bolt patter on your clutch cover. take out the three bolts and put the new filter in just like the old one was. As for changing your oil , i change mine about every 5-7 rides. Some people change it more or less then that , its really just your preference. Hope this helped you.
