i am not sure what the heck your asking but the only aftermarket headers that will fit a slip on silencer that i know of for a 400ex are the fmf powerbong and the pro circuits header. most of the other headers have a larger diameter. so, if your looking for a good header, you will be wanting to buy a complete system.

I don't think a 400ex really needs a aftermarket headpipe I feel it takes away from the compression on the motor. What I did with my headpipe was got it ceramic coated inside and out. Which helped retain the heat from your pipe and smoothed everything out inside the pipe and it also looks nice and shinny for only 65.00 at LRD performance.

yeah, i will be sending my sparks to jet hot to have them coat it. did you notice a difference in power. i was told you will get a 1-3 horsepower gain, but i don't really believe it.

Ya I wouldn't look to much into that 1-3 horsepower I thing someone was smoking the PowerBong. It is just a nice upgrade for cheap it does help you quad run more effcient and makes it look nice and shinny.
