Anyone ever raced a firebird in the 8th mile? I had a 94 formula that ran 8.8 in the 8th. It had 2.73 gears so it was pretty quick considering that. I wonder how a banshee would have done againt it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

It would choke out from all the firebirds exaust fumes, leaving it broke down and disabled!!

 

I would put my money on the banshee. Without a doubt.

 

I agree, a lot of quads are close to their top end speed in the 1/8th, but the firebird would win in the 1/4 obviously

My old 94 ran a 13.8 at a little over 100 but it only had the 275 horse lt-1. Also your ram air comes stock with 3.42 gears vs the cheesey 2.73's that I had. I was thinking of upgrading to a LS 1 like yours but we opted for a more practical 4x4 grand cherokee. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]


by the way, have you ran your car against either of your bikes?

 

Never ran the quads yet. 103.59 mph was speed with a 13.51 time on that run for 1/4 mile. EVen though both quads are fast dont think even the WTEC would win. Going to hook up my G-tech to WTEC some day. firebird was run at Portland drags,but even the G-tec comes within a few tenth of a second on runs. Heard they run quads at Woodburn drags but must have full leathers to run.Maybe this summer!
