i was wondering how often i should change my oil i race cross country and i use honda oil should i change it about every 3 races or 2 thanks

I change mine after about 18 hours. I could prolly wait until like 25, but I like doing it, and the oil is blacker than you can imagine at 18 hrs. I'd hate to see it at 25

 

mine is barely of a dark color after 30-40 hrs. Right now Im running Castrol GPS, after my next oil change Ill be switching to Amsoil.....

 

I run mine very hard and usually change it every 2 - 3 months depending on conditions. I usually ride 3 or more hours a day. Just check it before you ride and if it looks like it needs changed then change it.

 

i got a question about oil.i am thinking about putting in some of that Castroil High Mileage stuff in my ex cause i ride it alot and i ride it hard too.will this be good oil to use?

I would not suggest using regular car oil. I would suggest using using an oil made for off-road vehicles. Such as Bel Ray Thumper oil, Maxima, PJ1, Klotz, or Yamalube. These oils will be alot better on your engine than any conventional car oil. They are made specifically for ATV's and dirt bikes.
