$500-900 LOL Dude buy yourself a set of tools and a shop manual! 2 stroke rebuild costs about 75 for the piston kit,40 for bore job,15 for gaskets and do the labor yourself.

You crazy man, I'd never pay that much...maybe $300 at the most.

Sure 2 stoke building is cheaper than 4 stroke building. A honda 200x is a 4 stroke 3 wheeler I would like to see you rebuild a top end and only replace the pistion, rings and gaskets and have it run correctly.
I rebuild all my bikes the price is what a dealer would charge. 4 strokes require new valves, valve seats, valve guides etc.. Honda parts are not cheap.
Also some people don't have the hands on know how to rebuild a bike or even attemp to rebuild one.

Dealer pricing is crazy. They want $150 just for them to change the oil, spark plug, and clean your oil filter. They call it a service. I call it a rip off.

So ATV man have u ever rebuilt a 4 stoke??

correction the 200sx is a 4 wheeler 4 stroke..NOT A 2 STROKE
LOL!!! how did u rebuild you blaster top end for $50
did u just replace the rings. Thats not called a rebuild that just a re ring. Let me know where you buy your parts ill shop there. Most shops charge $50 for a bore job alone and $40 for a bore job that you have to clean the ports your self

Yes my atv is a 200SX 4 stroke and not a 3 wheeler.

I have never rebuilt an engine...could I do it myself or no??
And I go to a dealer to get my atv fixed because theirs no other people around me that can fix them.

well, 55 for the piston, rings, and the dealer through in a gasket set.

And i got a friend to do the boring.

You need to make friends at bike shops! Or anywhere..then you can get stuff cheaper.
