madam if you had been riding atvs in the early 80s you would appreciate the 250 ex, you might be a little on the spoiled side

Most of the old 80's bikes that I owned were pretty cheesey compared to the 250 ex.

 

Well now I have heard everything>. My wife and I both have Honda 250 ex's and we ride them here on the farm as well as in the mountains on the trails . I can only speak for us but they are the greatest little quads around . I am 220 lbs and 5ft 9 and they have enought power to haull my fat a$$ around as well as pull a trailer

I tihnk they are sickly awsome.... No need to bash a machine that you personally dont like. If you dont like it then keep it to yourself.

 

i think there a great begginer quad and great for the trails. i have a 250ex along with my 400ex and i still love to ride my little 250ex b/c its so mutch lighter. they are great the bash around and spend time with the family b/c they are easy to ride. so please think befor u post or at least give a reason y u think its such a crapy quad b/c what its MADE TO DO i think its one of the best.

 

turned 14 today and got my very first atv(of my own). have ridden big bore praries and 250 fourtrax not to mention mojaves and cannondales and i love my 250EX and think it is better than the others i have ridden. i know it may seem biased. i love anything honda and love how well built my 250 is. it doesnt hesitate to get on it and shifts smooth. before i can even take my thunb off the starter button the engine has cuaght and is idling smoothly. reverse is awesome and the speed is incredible. you are sadly mistaken on this bike.

 

The only reason this user posted this was to get a rise and his/her other post was thrown in the trash can.

What should really happen here is MadamHugessus should be banned not the 250ex which is a nice machine for its intended purpose and MadamHugessus knew this all along and is more than likely jealous.

 

Let the market decide. 250ex will be produced and sold after the 3 and 400exs are discontinued. It is a GREAT quad in its niche. Light, useable powerband, sweet suspension, bulletproof until crashed severely. I'd rather ride the little ex than any of the utility-type training quads I have, just for fun. I added a MotionPro twist throttle and an Outerwears fabric airbox lid with jetting, now it is even better. I'm looking for yellow front fenders in excellent condition, let me know if you are selling.

 

Smoke On This: were all in the Ouitcha Mountains of Southern Oklahoma and were gonna go on a 50 mile trail ride. The guy who got me into QUADS has a 9 yr old son and always hauls a 400 ex and his Son's 250 ex. My buddy unloads and RIDES the 250 ex this day. Terrain was hills and rocks and water crossings.
I pull up next to him and ask "why the little bike?" He replies"its got more clearance than the 400"
KEEP IN MIND that this guy has been rideing for a long time 15 yrs or more.
He has just upgraded to a 400 ex and this 250 ex from twin 300 ex's so he should be all stoked to romp the 400;so I thought.
END RESULT the entire day the 250 was not left behind once and it did not get hung up once. I cant say that about my 400 ex which I am very proud of.
HONDA'S are pretty much bulletproof and in my case...idiot proof which = one very very good product.
put that in your pipe and flush it.
