The Prairie 700 enjoys high prestige (including previous ATV of the Year honors) and has trounced all the competition up to this point. Kawasaki has made many technological advances on the Prairie and is notable as making the first extensive use of a V-Twin engine and a sealed hydraulic multi-disc rear braking system. Both of these features are tops in the industry. Besides having a more powerful engine, better overall speed, better braking and better handling, it also climbed short steep inclines with a more secure feeling.
I just got done reading this......spent the day looking for a new wheeler........its going to be the A/C 650

You are questioning the reliability of a brand that doesn't have to answer questions based on their newest model that really hasn't had the time to prove itself in the field. AC on the other hand, are like the old Chrysler boat motors. If you get a good one, you've got a good one. Too bad the good ones are too far in between. Still an upgrade from "Minneapolis Masterpiece".

Yeah i am upgrading to a Arctic cat but ive had no problems with my Scrambler. I wont get rid of it cause its fun....I have 1700 miles on it and the belt......and about it not being a Honda......ive already pulled my neighbors 2 Rincons out of the mudholes I go right thru..... well they have a winch now......they better cause i dont ride with them everyday. So i wont own a Rincon 1 unless i was just going to ride the trails. Ive rode their Rincons and they are awesome. They rode my Scrambler and had a riot on it. Arctic Cat 650 in a month or so.....then ill be able to pull 2 Rincons out at the same time.

1700 miles......... come back when you actually go ridin'. And for me to believe a Scrambler can pull a bike that has about 250 lbs. over it out of a hole, you're crazy. And it's not that they were Rincons either. I'm talkin' about Grizz, Sportsman, Prarie, any in that class. I know for a fact that the Scramblers are a blast to have and ride. Very few things can powerslide a corner like'em. And maybe that AC will walk all over those Rincons..................in Maine. But I guess the mud, water, hills and other terrain are just a little tougher on machines here in Arkansas. Because an AC just won't hold up to the abuse around here.
