I just bought a 2002 300ex and I am pretty new to the world of ATV's. I love this atv, but like most people, if I can get a little more out of it, I would like to. What would be some good first mods for the 300ex, if any? Thanks in Advance!

 

Welcome I also just bought a 300EX 2002 and It's awsome mine came all decked out with all the parts on it. I have full DG exhaust,K&N filter jet's and it is wicked lots of snap but I don't know what it was like before the parts. click on my camera to see some pics!

 

Mine came pretty much stock. Stock pipe, stock filter not jetted. It did come with Nerf bars and a new front guard though. I am just wondering which mods would be considered priority over others? Any help would be appreciated.

wut kind of mods do u want? like motor work or bolt on? I would maby get a pipe and a air filter then get it re-jeted.

 

Probably not motor yet. I would like to do something that isn't terribly expensive and something that I can do. Bolt on options would probably the best bet for me, for now anyway. I just don't know much about the different bolt on mods.

 

Do your exhaust first because it also doubles as a apperance mod as wellas performance!

 

Any suggestions on exhuast, what brand I should get? What should I plan on spending? EBAY?
