lol, i've tried starting a car while its running before, i guess there really is a reason ur not supposed to drive while on vicadin...lol. there's a chunk missing from my swingarm skidplate, its a strip about an inch and a half long, half an inch deep, and maybe a lil more than half an inch wide. that musta been a gnarly rock. plus i have damage on my engine casing. it looks as if a couple of rocks managed to get thru the gap in my engine skid plate, frame, and nerfbars. does anybody know whats better: 3/8" 5052 aluminum skidplate, or .190 6061 aluminum skidplate?

 

I know this is old, but I just saw my first 450R today. I live on a small island in Alaska, so getting to see the bike took me awhile. I have not been to the main land since the end of January.

Well the bike was nice, I only got to see it for like 2 minutes I had to go back to work. But from sitting on it, it felt a little high. Is the bike a little tippy??

Cant wait to see who buys it, I am not sure what the price will be. Most likely around $600.00 more than the average price, due to Air cargo shipping.

 

jus out of curiosity, do u ride quads? i know a guy that used to live in Alaska when he was a kid, and he rode dirtbikes, but he lived on the mainland. are there many places to ride up there considering ur on an island?
