Do you have a after market skid plate on your Foreman 450? If so, what kind of skid do you have and where did you get it? Thanks.

I made some skids to protect the front axle. Got 1/4 diamond plate alum. at the recycle center for about $10. They have saved my bacon a couple at least once. More than worth it.

I have the DG Baja skid plate on my Foreman and the Oxlite a-arm guards. I've only seen a couple aluminum skids for the Foreman. That's why I'm curious what kinds of skids people have on their Foremans.

http://www.atvtires.com/ARMORDILLO%20PLASTIC%20SKIDPLATES.htm here is a link to a pic of armodillo skid plates for the foreman 450. These guys ship to Canada and the U.S prices are in Canadian dollars and include shipping to some locations...I do not have one of these skidplatesa but they look pretty good.

I have a Perfex polyethylene plate on my TRX 450ES and it's very, very solid. I tried to destruct it hitting rocks but nothing to do. It slides a lot better than OEM because it covers the frame completely. It replaces the front plate (almost dented after hitting a bug!). You don't have to heat it because it's already bended. Finish is so nice you might think it's made by Honda. I have aluminum plates on my Outlander but I avoid rocks because I know it can dent aluminum easily. But with polyethylene? No! It's that sturdy
