should i trade my 4oo ex for a predator i mostly trail ride but do go to some tracks every now and then

 

keep it trail, other than that the predator would a good way.

 

isnt lighter is better?...400ex is lighter then the predator

 

The ex is way better than the predator. I think it is more comfortable riding, lighter, and better trail handler. My ex takes alot of abuse and is still staying strong. Hope you make the right choice.

 

yup...my EX (EX girlfriend, get it?) got alot of wear and tear too...lol

 

if u want the same quad for another 10 years keep the honda

 

how about 19 or 20 years?...I'm the 2nd owner of my trike..and it was my brothers best friends trike!..so its pretty good for almost 20 years..and still beats the 400EX on trails [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

coming from a former ex owner and my brother in law has a 04 PREDATOR.get the predator.you wont be dissappointed.the ex is very reliable and they handle good.thats about all they are.the predator weighs more but the power and the suspension make up for that by far.it is just a better machine.liquid cooling and FOX suspension work very well.so far it has been very reliable.if you get one try and get the 04.the 03 had bugs.the predator is way faster and handles just as good.it has power from the bottom to the top and pulls very hard.an ex will wheelie better.they are great wheelier's.go for the predator.im a suzuki fan so this is not a biased decision.

 

hey..like you said..the 400ex is reliable...makes you think...do you wanna dump money in it?...I mean..so what if there faster...the rider is what wins the race..and the rider is skilled..not the bike...I can ride a tri-moto 125 and still beat people on 400EX's on trails...its skill that matters...if it was the bike Id dump my trike and get a 400ex or 450R...but sence my trike is cool looking..and better handelring (for me, it is) Id keep it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

he probably dosnt race.he probably just goes out with his friends on the trails and just rides for fun.he will have more fun on the predator.trails or track.
Right on about owning a cool tirke and being different.i bought the LT to be different form the four strokes i ride with and still keep up.
