I've been out of the scene for a little while now, i used to own a raptor but i sold it. Im looking to buy a new sport quad soon to start riding again.....but i know little about the new quads and so forth.
Like the 450r, and the yfz450, i know a little about the predator not alot.
I ride trails, and drag a little......i guess just give me some input on the two new 450's if you would please
i greatly appreciate your input guys..

 

I Just bought a TRX-450R.The Yamaha has electric start & a slightly more top end plus stiffer suspension.The TRX is supposed to have better low end a more comfortable seat and better suited to off road riding.Pick e'em.....

 

I've heard the 450R to be a better all around machine while the YFZ is more race oriented. Supposedly the 450R is great for any riding style but the YFZ has to be ridden hard to perform at its best.

 

I just got a 450r three days ago. I choose the Honda over the Yamaha for a couple of reasons. 1st the yamaha felt cramped to me I'm only 6ft tall 205lbs, the bars made me feel like I had to lean forward and down. 2nd the service I got from the local Yamaha dealership was the absolute worst. I figured if this is how they treat me now how will it be when they have to cover a warranty issue. 3rd The price of the TRX is easier to swallow for me. When deciding think of how you ride, IMO the Hondas power is more user friendly.

 

What are some of you getting OTD on the 450R? Or say if i bought out of state to avoid TT+L?

I cannot stand sitting on the yfz The seat is so umcomfortable. But it is pretty fast but i still go with honda and get your moneys worth[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
