25" tires won't fit unless you put a lift kit on. I put my 24" Rancher tires on the Recon. They fit but the tire would rub.

The 23" tires will fit, however there are not many tire manufacturers that make a 23x10x10 tire! Titan 489 do have a size that will fit.

Hey snowshark... how many pounds of airpressure do you put in your recon if you are riding bumpy trails? My hubby and I differ greatly in this, he says 4 1/2 and I say 3 or less for handling. What do you think? This would settle this argument once and for all.

Covert,

Initially we ran 3 pounds in all 3 of our quads. Then I went up to 6 pounds, but that was too much. I kept letting air out until it felt right. The Rancher & Recon both have 5 pounds & my kids Eton he is running 4 pounds.....

At three pounds I was worried about knocking the tire off its bead because of the number of stumps just off the trails.

Hope this helps..........

HondaPride,

The 23" mud sharks are only 8" wide. Are you willing to give up 2" of traction on each wheel for an additional 1/2" of ground clearance?

i think those or mudmachines are the best bet for recon owners right now,,,,, i want some 24" oultaws o well i heard some were there comeing out with 24" mudbugs, but i think they were 9" wide or something
