i am going to get a 400ex soon and was wondering if the 450r LED taillight would fit on a 400ex.

 

come on now guys someone on here has to know, all i am wanting here is at least a simple yes or no. all i am wanting to know is if i snap off the 400ex taillight and snap back on a 450r LED taillight. really what i am wanting to know is will the holes line up and will the wireing harness hook up right. i will if i have to cut the wire and wire it straight together.

 

Why buy the 450r one.. It would prob be expencive anyways. Go to a Peterbuilt or big hauler dumptruck shop. They should have LEDS laying everwhere. Diffrent colors all kinds. Then get the mounting platen that and comes with a slap it on there. I bet it would be more durable anyways

 

where do you think i could find odd colors like blue or green in led lights. Like the oval light s that have alot of leds in them, you know what i mean.

 

i haven't checked the tail light in my honda but we run the led in the ds's the only thing that will last in those things.

 

I just put a 10 led tail light on my 2002 300EX it is bright as hell I love it!

 

I believe you have to cut the wires on the 450r taillight to get it off. It'll work on a 400ex you just have to splice some wires together, check ebay some are going for cheap on there.

 

Yeah I had to cut and splice on my 300EX but it is no big deal
