Trx 450r sprockets
#1
Does anyone know where you can order a 13 tooth front sprocket for a trx 450 from? I have called all over and nobody seems to have anything in stock for the 450 yet. I love the bike but it is geared to high for the trails. Has anyone changed the sprockets, front or back?

Yeah, I checked with all of them and no has anything, I found a honda dealer near me but all they have is a stock rear sprocket and can't order anything other than that from their distributor.

FYI-I have changed my sprocket and I also had problems finding them until I called honda directly. The front one is the same as the crf450 but 1mm thicker(negligable-don't worry about that) and the rear is identical to the 400ex.Hope this helps.

If you are talking about the front one-just loosen your 4 allen bolts, loosen the chain, remove casesaver, take old sprocket off,put new one on.Easy--------ENJOY
P.S.-If you are going one tooth smaller in front you do lose some of your adjustment but you will be fine with the stock chain.
