heyy, what exhaust system should i get for my 250ex? i was thinking about the procircuit t4 full system. and what one gives the most power? and if u could tell me if its loud id apreciate it. im also only 14, so im workin on a tight budget lol. also my 250ex is still all stock if that makes a diff. thanks

 

If price is an issue then i would look into geting a fmf maga max2. you can make them loud or quite because they are tunable. its a great pipe for the 250ex and if you just have enugh $$ for the slip on you can buy the header later. if i was in your shoes i would get a slip on with a k&N filter and a hot cam and a jet kit. and if you have any more $$ get the header

No hot cam available for a 250EX. About the only mods you can do are Pipe, Jet and Filter.
250EXdude, if you get a pipe YOU MUST rejet it AND put a different filter on it for air flow.

 

if loudnesss if what u want a cobra is just about the loudes one out there and there cheap but they dont add anything cuz all they r is a straight pipe

 

i know i dont want a cobra system because thats way too loud. id like somethin quiet, but louder than stock if that makes sense, but what one makes the most power without being too loud, my parents said they'd pay for it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] so price doesnt matter ne more[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

a good quiter type pipe would be an fmf Q-pipe, im pretty sure they make them for the 250ex, u would probobly be fine with just the slip on, you really dont need the header untill u start getting into engine mods (boring out etc)

 

one thing u might want to look at is where u want the power to be. what i mean by this is do u want to have more low end, top end, midrange, or a mix of all 3. i would reccomend looking at some of WhiteBros. higher end pipes. i don't know if they make them for the 250EX but i do know that they r awesome pipes, jus insanely expensive which is why u rarely see them on recreational vehicles.

 

generally with 4-strokes you can't really control where the power is, unlike with a 2-stroke you can.
