I keep hearing people tell me to get the yoshi pipe for your 400ex. They tell me its the best. It may be the best , but not for a 400ex. I saw this in some exhaust shoot out for the 400ex. I dont understand why people keep saying they are the best when they dont give you the most hp gains? Can anybody explain?

i put a forum in performance mods to see if the hmf or the yosh was better and every one said the hmf exhaust is the best for the 400ex http://www.hmfengineering.com

maybe when they say best there not always talking about hp gains. maybe overall best like installation, features, performance (hp gains) sound etc

HMF is prolly better for the Honda. Yoshi is more of a Z/KFX 400 pipe(I heard Yoshi helped develop the 400cc engine with Suzuki).

 

Yeah, Yosh has been connected with Suzuki for years doing R&D w/ them.
