How about a used 400ex? Seems like they are going pretty cheap since the 450r is out

A used 400EX is an excellent choice! I got my 2002 400EX in September for $3000. It was completely stock and in great condition. I was going to get a 250EX but they are just too slow for what I wanted. Just keep your eyes open.

Around $3000 for stock, if you want one with stuff on it allready probably around $3500. It could be higher or lower. That is in Virginia Beach. I don't know about where you live. Look in your local classifeids.

I am selling a Honda Rancher AT 400cc 4x4. It has the ability to shift between manual and auto transmissions and the ability to switch from 2 to 4-wheel drive. It has 20 hours on it and is in excellent condition. I am including a trailer and helmet. If anyone is interested call me at 870-8294.

hey guys..heres my .02...i learned on a 250ex for about 5 months, raced a couple races and then outgrew it...i was really really loyal to honda, but i didnt like how stiff all the clutches were on the other 400's were, so i went ahead and got a kfx400...the only complaint i have w/ the kfx is the turning radius...it doesnt compare to the nimble 250...but, if u know how to work it right, u can manipulate the brakes and clutch to help you get around corners..hope this is help
