Default 400ex suspension

In time im going to be getting a 440 kit for my 400ex. Will i need to widen the a-arms and axle, and also get a longer swingarm. I want the thing to be stable and not tipsy. will the stock suspension be ok when i get the 440 get. I ride mostly backroads, trails, and hit occasional jump. also how wide should the a arms, axle, and swingarm be if i need it bigger?

stock is fine. if you wanna go cheap like me just get 250r front shocks. they are much better then stock 400 ones, beacuse you can sorta adjust them. and it makes your front end a little lower, so it sorta looks different and the ones i have are blue so they kinda look like works shocks

For that type of riding I see no reason to mess with the suspension unless you just got a lot of extra money burning a hole in your pocket.

Your not going to go any faster with a 440 (not much anyway) - you'll just hit top end faster. If you want more top end speed - look to changing the sprockets to change the gear ratio.
