You will like it better than your DS as long as you don't mind kickin it a few times now and then.

I went from a DS to a 450r and didnt mind the starting difference at all. Maybe if your a 5 pack a day smoker and get tired really easy making you stop every 5 minutes causing you to have to kick start it alot you may have a problem. For me, kick starting it maybe every hour or so when i ride is not a problem. So yah, dont worry about the kick start is all im saying.

EDIT: BTW, most people can kickstart a 450r sitting down on the seat, its real easy.

I went riding in the RIVER this weekend and I stalled it 1 time in 5 hrs of hard riding. I kicked it 5 times in that 5 hrs. 2 times to start after a shut down rest and 3 when I stalled it after going into a 5ft deep crossing. The TRX was in water over the handle bars and just knew I ruined my new bike. Nope, slapped it twice and then put the choke on and it started up and spit all the water out fo the pipe. Typical Honda durability. BTW, 2 YFZ's were riding with us and had more problems cranking on the electric start after they hit a little water than I did with my kickstart. Just the facts man, no flaming.
