Default runing the finish

im going to be getting a pressure washer. i want to know if the pressure causes to take finishes off parts of the quad. I dont want it to take the chrome finish off or any of the finishes for that matter

we have one and you can change the pressure on the end of the sprayer.

I usually use Simple Green on the tires and inner fenders. After spraying it on and letting it soak, I hit it with the power washer. Takes all the crap off. Just be carefull not to spray too much (without diluting) on anything else, it will fade plastic and might possibly make wire sleaves or vacuum lines brittle. Simple Green is a concentated cleaner/degreaser. Also take care to move nozzle from the power washer back from anything vulnerable on your bike. I.E.: Seat, electronics, vacuum lines, etc.

You'll notice after a good preliminary soaking w/ water, then soaking w/ Simple green, then power wash tires...that your rubbler looks good as new. I even use it sparingly on anything that is really stained w/dirt. Works great, haven't found anything better. Also cuts back on the amount of elbow grease needed. BTW, use Armor All on fenders (outer and inner) after, keeps plastics shiny, and also creates a barrier for the next time you go riding. Makes cleanup even easier. Of course, using these products after each ride gets a little spendy. I guess it all depends on how clean you want to keep your bike.... Good luck!
