The best bang for the buck is my 330 kit. Powroll doesn't make a 330 they only make one with a 78mm piston and mine has a 80mm. You can also make it a 380,385 or a 390 with no stroking just bore for about $100 more. The bigger motors should have a big valve head, cam, valve springs ect.

see i think just putting parts together isn't the way to go, call a shop and get a kit, these guys put some research into these things and offer a product that works.

Mickey, I just went down your list as published in the August 96 dirt wheels. I could only afford it one-by-one. I changed the pipe (with jetting), Black box mod, etc. Each mod produced positive results and was a compliment to the previous mod. The mod I liked the most was the 350X air intake tube. It smoothed out the idle, most of the cold blooded nature and resulted in making it very easy to back up while still cold.

This quad has been handed down so many times, taught many new riders to use a clutch and on the last trip to glamis left a 52 year old man muttering for the five hour trip home how he was gonna get quad with paddles as soon as he got home.

When you mention the big head were you talking about a special head for the 300EX or just a ported, big valve, stock head?

Also do you still support the 300EX like you did before? And do you know of a reasonably priced wider Axle for the 300EX?

Thanks

Yes the head is stock with bigger intake valves. Not only do I support the 300ex I bought my son a used 03" and put a Dura Blue axle on it. And the 330 kit is still one of my biggest sellers.

If you get a FST kit you'll want to have an extra oil pump handy.

You don't need a new oil pump but we have found that Honda's HT lock tite would be good on the bolts on high torque motors.

Hey Mickey, with the bigger bore ones like 386-416 do you suggest using a oil cooler?

Thanks
