I put the entire BigGun kit on mine. about 440.00 for the kit, direct from BigGun. Added a whole new dimension to my bike.

I ordered the header pipe, and the silencer with a "quite core" and spark arrestor. Rated to give you 7 additional HP. Now the EX will wheelie in all but 5th gear.

But, I've heard good things about the White Bros. kit too. (Only positive to the BigGun, it is ceramic coated, so it doesn't get ultra hot, and it doesnt' change colors like some of the "shiny" pipes.)

I love my Power-Core IV-2. It sounds just as good as anything out there and gave me huge performance gains. Got mine for $240

You might want to consider the complete Big Gun system. I put one on my 400 and it added alot of torque down low and in the midrange. It will run away from a stocker and the pipe is constructed good, too. No complaints except for the seal between the header and silencer. Are there any places to ride up in your area? Were not to far apart so if you ever want to ride drop me an email.

I have the same problem with the junction of the head pipe and the silencer. I am going to try some high temp sealent this weekend, and let it cure for a day, I'll let you know if it gets any better.

Has anyone tried the new pipe and silencer from Pro Circuit for the 400?
