I need to charge the dead battery in my Rancher. It dead because of my mistake I left the ignition key turned on and ran down the battery. Are there any precautions I should take like disconnecting either the + or - cable before connecting the charger? I have heard with a car you should remove + or - cable to avoid damaging the alternator.

jsut jump it off a car or somethin then ride it for a while. that will bring it right back up.
