#1
I have a 1994 honda trx 200 in need of valve adjustment.Ive done more than a few valve jobs on kaw's and other hondas but this ones got me on wits end.the rocker arms or built into the valve cover .I cant seem to get a feeler gage on the valve stem.on the outside of the valve cover is marks does anyone know how to adjust these?Ive looked for a manual everyone is either out of stock or backorder.

I talked with a honda mech today, apparently you dont use a feeler gage it has .003ths increments on the end of the rocker arms.Dont know if i like the setup but after i found out how to do it..it was the easiest ive ever done...took it for a test spin..everything seems to be allright.thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Your Honda Dealer has a wealth of knowledge - if they will give it out.
The 200 type II was a good quad - I haven't had to do much other than minor maintenance on my Kids' '96 and it has probably a million miles on it (been through 3 sets of tires) - it's a shame they quit making it, but Honda seems to like discontinuing the old "die hards".
