How many Rpm does the stock rev limiter kick in at? Hw many rpm does a different rev box raise it?

 

The stock limiter lets it rev to 9,100 rpms, and the aftermarket ones let it rev up to 10,100 rpm if im not mistaken. Later

Hey, do some asking around first. Just be sure the stock springs and cam can handle the load.

FYI, I think the XR 250 CDI (stock # 30410-KCE-671)will work on the 400EX and is identical to what White Bros. sells.

 

This dyno reading suggests that it will go well beyond 11.2K RPM - Be careful....
