Default **nerf bar help**

i just got my dg alloy nerf bars for my 03 300ex and they look nothing like they did in the pickture there just in the shape of a square instead of having the little bar area that comes around the peg. i am wondering if they gave me the wrong one because when i line it up it seems as if it would interfere with the black plastic behind the footpeg. i thought nerf bars go infront of the footpeg but these go behind? the netting would also have to go over the footpeg if i did it the way the instructions said.. oh and by the way there was no instructions i had to call dg up and have them fax it over to me...

Does anyone at all have any pics of there 300ex with DG ALLOY series nerf bars installed i would really appritiate it. i have no idea what is wrong with this please help..

The D shaped nerfs were all that was available for a long time. The better shape is available in some brands, though. The heel gaurds will have to go. The nets will go under the pegs.

Take the peg bolts out and then bolt the nerf on the outside of the peg.

The heel guards come off and the netting does not go over the footpeg. Also, the picture was of a 400ex probably. I have pics of my quad with nerfs in my pics page.
