i wanna shave the fenders on my 400 and i wanna know if i can do it and what tools i need? thankx

cuz im gettin into freestyle and mx and its alot easier to have them cut

 

okay I understand now...what I cannot is why folks do it and then trail ride??? mud all over the place. Is it a vision thing? Like being able to see not appearance....
I put "bark busters on my 400ex and took off the sheilds...terrifing not being able to see your outside edge of front tires going thru trees; they created a blind spot.

 

yea being able to see better in the air its alot easier to do tricks with so ur feet don't get all caught up when ur tryin to do can cans

 

Use a dry erase felt tip pen to draw on your fenders where you want to cut them. Follow this line with a rotozip if you have one. Then smooth edges with fine sandpaper. If you don't have a rotozip, you can cut them with a carpenters utility knife. With the dry erase felt tip pen you can play around with where you want to cut your fenders and just wipe off the marks.
