I run a supertrapp IDS2 with the adjustable discs for noise and power output mounted to an FMF header, it works pretty good and I can tune it down to be not much louder than stock. The FMF header is pretty good but the finish wears off pretty fast and it begins to rust.

Get the HMF, can't beat the quality and great customer service. I had an FMF Hi-Flo pipe, with a Mega Max slip on. The combo was junk ( I guess the Mega max will kill any air flow anyway). The Mega Max is ok on a stock motor. I bought a HMF full exhaust and it was night and day...I wish I would have done that sooner. The primary pipes are 3/8" larger that the primaries on the Hi Flo. Even if you just do the slip on, I think you'd be happy. If you decide later on that you want the head pipe, they will re-do the front of your silencer, so you can take full advantage of having a true High flowing exhaust. I think they claim 5 hp on the s/o and 9hp peak for the full system. I am a little sceptical about those #'s because with all my mods I'd probably have 50 hp ...which isn't the case, but it made a huge difference over my past exhaust system, it complimented the rest of my mods quite nicely.

I have the Yoshi full system, it sounds good (not to loud), looks good and with a 170 main there is good power delivery all thru the rpm's with no flat spots. I bought the complete system on ebay (new) for $395.00 I believe you can get a slip on for $200 and some change. Check ebay out!

dont think so, i havent seen any store selling yoshi header, if you buy slip on and get header later, FMF always sells the header. Just save up for a full system, HMF $403 at gopartsdirect.com
