I am going to buy just rear tires for my 300EX and I'm not sure which are better for what I'm doing:

1. Maxxis Razr
2. Maxxis Razr 2
3. ITP Holeshot XC
4. ITP Holeshot XCR
5. New Maxxis iRazr

I will be racing harescrambles with these. The tracks have a mix of GNCC and MX type terrain. Mostly woods, hills, sometimes mud. I want something that has good traction, but slides well. My stock tires just want to roll in the turns, which is why I would like new ones.

20s, lowers center of gravity, and gives it more low end. Worth the sacrifice of top end because it doesnt go that fast up there in the first place and it helps out a lot in the woods, were the quad was made to be ridden.

 

do u know what size stock ones are? 22's maybe? and is getting a smaller tire kind of like getting a lower geared sprocket?

 

stocks are 20 and getting a smaller tire is like gearing down.

get the 20in razrs,great tire.I put 20's on mine and the increase of lowend was AMAZING but it did loose alot up top.

 

how much uptop? also did u hit the rev limiter too fast or how was it.
