I seen one on e-bay for a few dollars, i know the Ds guys use one with a great effect with a stock pipe but will they work on the 400, it looks like a little bigger oppening then the MR HP billet end cap but sure looks nice and is alot cheaper than a pipe at this point...

Let me know what you think....if you have experience..I will try and post the pic..

 

anyone heard of the billet end cap...

 

I have seen the end cap you are talking about but don't see how it would do much good. I think the muffler its self is so restrictive that opening the end cap would be a waste of time. If you take out the S/A and end cap on the stock pipe you will see NO gains in power and thats all that end cap is doing. so IMO it's just a waste of time and money.

 

I put one on my daughters stock 400ex and my wifes stock raptor. They look realy nice.

 

But did they help the performance on them?

 

They are just covers, I know the 450r cap is a performance cap, but the 400ex is just a cover. I have seen in the honda forum about guys gutting there stock pipes.
