Default Foreman S valve adjustment

Sounds pretty typical drywaller. I usually find them a couple thousandths loose if anything. My experience with hondas is the rockers, pushrods, etc. wear more than the valve face. With a few exceptions, it's not very often I see tight valves.

Default Foreman S valve adjustment

Hey Quadwrench. Abouth the valve adjustment on my foreman. Just one more question. When I adjusted my valves, all I did was take my spark plug out and get my piston all the way up. This is when I made my valve adjustment. I was able to move my valve arms when I made this adjustment. What do I look for in my machines performance if my valves are not set right. Thanks drywaller

Unscrew the timing hole cover. Position the piston at TDC on the compression stroke. Pull the recoil starter rope until the mark on the rotor is aligned with the timing notch inside the hole. If the mark is not visible in the timing hole. The piston is on the exhaust stroke. Rotate one turn. Then adjust the valves.
