Why would they? Did you hear a rumor or something? Suprising as it may seem to some, the 400EX continues to sell in most areas pretty well, despite being left behind in the technology race. When Honda finds something that sells, they usually don't let it go or even change it until that change is absolutely necessary. It's possible, but I highly doubt it because there would be a void to fill in the sport lineup.

I don't think they would...they have already gotten their money out of all of the jigs..molds..ect, so now it's alot of profit for them. I think it's one of the best quads out there for it's intended use. I do think that come 2006 that Yamaha will probably drop the Banshee & Blaster because of the future strict emission laws that will be in effect then. They could keep them but would have to sell them as a closed coarse model like the motocross bikes, & not allowed to get an off-road registration...which would be fine if ridden on private land or racetracks...but that's not the market for those quads.

Yamaha has already announced they will be dropping the Banshee, but I didn't hear anything about the Blaster. The next things to anticipate will be the release of a 650-700EX from Honda, 450 race machines from Kawasaki and Suzuki and the 650 and 750 Brute Forces from Kawasaki.
