when i replaced my stock clutch perch, with a cr250 style one, i noticed a black button inside of the clutch perch, this button, when compressed, will not allow the quad to start assuming that the clutch is not being pulled in, becuase when the clutch is not pulled in, the lever rests on the switch. IF i were you, i'd remove the handlebar plastic, and cleane the whole clutch perch really good, look for the black box that is hidden inside of the perch, it should be held in by a metal plate, remove the metal plate and clean the black box. If this little box is broken, then you may have to hot wire it, which is also very simple. You'll figure it out (hopefully), later
