Honda's plastic clips

These D@## Plastic Body Clips
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The current trend on some ATV's is to use these plastic clips/anchors to hold everything together. My KFX has a few and Honda went ape with them on the Recon and most other models that I have seen. Surely someone makes a special tool to remove these instead of pulling them into pieces with a flathead screwdriver and a pair of needlenose pliers.
Anybody know anything about them?

They get dirty from the backside, then that makes it difficult for the center plastic piece to slide freely in the outside piece. The extremely small head leaves very little to grab onto. Then i get pissed and end up pulling it out in little pieces.

You men are putting way too much thought into this.
I have come up with several simple yet effective ways to remove them on my Rincon. I found that rolling it sideways down a steep hillside worked well. The hillside must of course be covered in very thick brush so as not to gain too much speed. Just a few slow gentle rolls and shazamm, they're out. Another slick trick is to scrunch your fenders up against trees & stuff like that. pulls them babies out like magic.
